CALL FOR PROGRAMS
For the 2012
ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
“Many Counselors: 1 Profession”
April 12 – 14, 2012

Members of ACA of Missouri, counseling students, and other counseling professionals are invited to present their research and expertise at the Annual ACAM Conference. Interested counselors, counselor educators, and counseling students are invited to submit a proposal for a full day (6 hour) workshop, half-day (3 hour) presentation or one-and-a-half hour presentation or poster session.
We are seeking programs in a wide variety of areas of interest and usefulness to counseling professionals, and this year we have a particular interest in presentations looking toward the future development of the profession.
Proposal Requirements
1. List the name, professional license, institution (if relevant), mailing address, phone, and email address of each presenter.
2. Please provide a title and a brief summary of the program to appear in the conference program book. In order to facilitate CEU approval, please include a description of the presentation that includes program goals, a summary of the information, techniques, theory or research to be presented, method of presentation to be used (panel, lecture, demonstration, question and answer) and a description of accompanying handouts and audio-visual materials.
3. Indicate time required for the presentation (6 hour, 3 hour, one-and-a-half hour, or poster session) and intended audience: beginner, intermediate, advanced, or general.
4. Please include a brief biographical summary (100 – 150 words) to be used for the program booklet, as well as for CEU documentation.
5. Deadline for program submission is February 14th, 2012.
Presenters are offered a discounted conference rate of $50 per any day of the conference.
